Our Team

Perry Walker
Perry has been a facilitator since before he knew what the word meant, when working at the John Lewis Partnership thirty-five years ago. Since then, mostly while working at the New Economics Foundation, he has trained and practiced in methods that include: Future Search Conferences, Open Space, Appreciative Inquiry and Convergent Facilitation. More interestingly, he has been involved in developing a range of new approaches to deliberation where there seemed to be a gap. These include: Democs conversation kits; CrowdWise; and the Assembly of Humans and More Than Humans. Now freelance, he has since 2022 been co-developing the Win-Win Approach.

Paul Thistlethwaite

He specialises in designing bespoke deliberative workshops where he employs a wide range of deliberative and digital engagement methods. While supporting initiatives like Trust the People, Take the Jump, TalkShop and in founding Thinking Box he has run over 200 community and business events. He has been co-developing the Win-Win approach with Perry since 2022.

Vicki Mistry
I’ve been an environmental advocate for as long as I can remember, and I see tackling division in our polarised world as a vital part of addressing the climate crisis. I joined the Win-Win team in 2025, bringing my facilitation and community organising experience to support and grow this work.
Alongside this, I run Carbon Literacy training for communities and organisations, specialising in home retrofitting.
I started as a Chartered Civil Engineer, then became a sustainability consultant. With over 25 years in the built environment and sustainability sector—spanning design, site work, training, BREEAM, and workshop facilitation—I bring a broad practical background to everything I do.
